Thermostat not turning on.

That is what the work order said when I walked into the service bay in March 2023. I was not the technician. I was the person who signed the purchase orders. The old way worked when parts were simpler and vehicles had fewer variables. Today, one part number can make the difference between a fixed vehicle and a comeback. The purchase order is not the end of the buying decision. It is the beginning.
